Description
The Gib'Sea 126 MK2 is known as a good ocean cruising yacht with its spacious deck, large cockpit, and excellent sailing performance. Inside, the Gib'Sea boasts a spacious saloon and cabins with long, wide beds and two bathrooms.This Gib'Sea 126 underwent an extensive refit between 2019 and 2023. The rudder blade was replaced in 2019 by Modus Marine, and the polyester in the transom was addressed and relaminated. The deck, superstructure, and cockpit were then refitted with new polyester in 2021. The yacht now likely has a stronger construction than when originally built.The hull windows (four in total) were replaced in 2021, as were two Gebo portlights and all six Gebo deck hatches. All instruments were updated with two B&G plotter screens, B&G Triton displays, AIS, autopilot, and VHF, all connected to an NMEA backbone. The rubbing strake was also replaced, the water pump and water lines were renewed, two water tanks were refitted, Permateak was installed in the cockpit and on the swim platform, the hull was painted, and the engine underwent a major overhaul in 2022, including a new heat exchanger and a new heater with five air outlets in various cabins and areas. The guardrail and sprayhood were replaced in 2023. The interior could use an upgrade.In short, this sailing yacht has been extensively updated and improved, ensuring you can sail the seas for years to come!
