This boat has many desirable features of a newer design in the size and pricing of a vintage model.A good-size cockpit with a layout convenient for crew or short / single-handed sailing. Room to move about and self tailing winches are well placed and instruments allow you to stay behind the wheel on the raised helm seat.All lines are led aft and through marked clutches to allow sail handling from the cockpit. Roller furling headsail and lazy jacks allow raising and lowering sails from the cockpit as well. Good-sized side decks and double lifelines allow easy movement forward when needed.Comfortable and conventional cabin layout, the easy companionway leads to the salon with the galley to starboard, nav station to port, and a dinette forward. The good-sized galley and loads of storage make the boat a good one for liveaboard or extended stays. Refrigerator and icebox allow on or off-grid use (has some solar panels as well).Moving forward there is an enclosed head with a composting toilet, sink and mirror. Opposite is a wet locker and forward is a convention cabin with a V-berth. The boat offers good ventilation with overhead hatches and opening ports. There is also a small cabin under the cockpit with a berth and additional storage. Engine access is good with removable panels for easy inspections and service.This is a good option for someone looking to move up or get into sailing on a reasonable budget. Owner's Comment
The owner reports that all systems are working as designed and maintenance is up to date. The boat appeared to be in good overall condition and showed average wear for her age. The owner reports the the VHF are recent additions to the boat.A recent survey found elevated moisture levels in some areas of the deck as well as possible delamination in the bulkhead. They're also was damage to the mainsail and sale cover from animal presence outside of the boat.
