Description
Royalina – Fully Restored Coronet Elvstrøm 38 MS in Unique ConditionThis Coronet Elvstrøm 38 is more than just a sailboat – it is a piece of Danish maritime history. Designed by Paul Elvstrøm and built by Botved Boats, it has now been transformed into one of the most thoroughly restored and best-equipped Elvstrøm 38 MS vessels on the market. The boat is owned and extensively renovated by a professionally trained officer with a background from A.P. Møller, the Royal Danish Navy, and his own shipping company. A lifetime at sea focused on perfection and safety is reflected in every detail on board. The entire foredeck and aft deck have been opened up, all old balsa wood removed, and the deck rebuilt in marine-grade plywood, laminated with fiberglass and finished with non-slip coating, gelcoat and topcoat. The result is a strong, modern deck far superior to the original standard. Inside, the boat appears bright, updated and secure with new ceilings, cushions, linings, and replaced, sealed windows. Electrically, the boat has been upgraded to a state-of-the-art level with an advanced electronic monitoring system – a “Shore Power Alarm System” – which alerts in case of loss of shore power, temperature changes, and allows remote heat control directly from a mobile phone. Additionally, it features a new 550 Ah powerpack, a powerful 6500 W pure-sine inverter, new shore-power installation, GSM and Bluetooth monitoring, as well as smart TV and internet. The system can also be expanded with a bilge water alarm, making it ideal for long-term storage or remote mooring. The engine and mechanics are equally well executed. The powerful Volvo Penta 75 hp engine has been cleaned, painted and serviced, fitted with new engine mounts, new stern tube seal (Blackjack), new hoses, new engine-room lighting and new sound insulation. A new Eberspächer diesel heater ensures comfort in all conditions, and the boat is delivered with a small RIB tender. Safety is top-notch with new gas and CO? alarms, a new Garmin emergency beacon, frost-protected radiators with GSM control and a new bilge pump. The sails have been inspected, cleaned and impregnated. You are therefore acquiring a Coronet Elvstrøm 38 MS that stands out as a rarely fully restored and professionally upgraded sailing yacht, combining classic Danish craftsmanship with modern technology and safety. A boat built and restored by a man who has spent his entire life at sea – resulting in quality, security, and a standard very rarely found in this class. Contact Yachtbasen to arrange a viewing.
