Description

History & Construction:The 1982 Fairline Phantom 32 is a classic British flybridge cruiser, renowned for its solid GRP construction, practical two-cabin layout, and timeless styling. Part of Fairline’s successful Phantom series from the 1970s and early 1980s, she was designed for comfortable family cruising and weekend getaways. With twin-engine options on sterndrives, the Phantom 32 offers reliable performance, excellent manoeuvrability, and well-proportioned social and living spaces, making her a highly regarded and enduring example of a traditional Fairline motor cruiser. This particular motorboat has been owned by the current owner for the past four years and has been used as a liveaboard. He is only selling as he has a second boat and doesn't have the time to use both. The vessel has had four owners in total and was last surveyed in 2005. She is currently out of the water at Medway Bridge Marina on the River Medway, where a berth is available. Mechanical Systems:This Fairline Phantom 32 has twin Volvo Penta AQ200D 6-cylinder petrol engines producing 200hp each and driving through sterndrives to 4-blade fixed propellers. The engines have direct cooling. The engine hours are currently unknown. The engines will require a service as they have not been run for a while. The starboard engine does need some work to get it operational. The outdrive bellows were last changed in 2023. There is a 726-litre aluminium fuel tank. To make handling easy, trim tabs have been fitted.Electrical Systems:3 x 12-volt batteries (1 x engine + 2 x domestic ), age unknown. All charging from the engine alternator and via a 240v shore power system with ring main, immersion heater and battery charger and solar panel. The vessel has a small inverter fitted.
