1979 Storebro 33 Royal

The Storebro 33 Royal is a sturdy built Swedish sailing yacht from the renowned Storebro shipyard. Built to the high quality standards of the Det Norske Veritas (DNV) classification society, the yacht guarantees reliability and seaworthiness. The sheltered center cockpit features a sprayhood and can be fully enclosed with a cockpit tent, ideal for changing weather conditions. The winches are within easy reach from the steering wheel. Both the genoa and mainsail have recently been renewed and are operated from the cockpit. The navigation equipment is also up-to-date. The teak deck gives the boat a stylish appearance. The Storebro is put on the hard for service annually. In the spring of 2025, the hull was polished and new antifouling applied. The reliable Volvo Penta diesel engine is serviced annually, and the injectors were recently renewed. InteriorThe interior is nicely furbished with mahogany. The saloon features a cozy settee that can easily be converted into an additional berth. The galley is practically laid out and equipped with a sink, gimballed gas stove, compressor coolbox, and ample storage space. A freshwater tank of 200 liters and a wastewater tank of approximately 30 liters are on board. The chart table is located on the starboard side, directly next to the cabin entrance, with access to the spacious aft cabin behind it. This aft cabin offers two comfortable berths. The V-berth in the forward cabin offers ample sleeping space for two; the mattress was replaced in 2022. Between the saloon and the forward cabin, on the port side, is the head, with a hand-pump toilet and sink. On the starboard side, there is a handy closet for sailing gear. There is also a hot air heater for extra comfort on cold days.
