Description
1979 Ron Holland-designed Nautor Swan 39 cruising version, in same ownership since 1983 and with substantial recent refit. FURTHER BROKER’S COMMENTS:Ron Holland-designed Swan 39, launched in 1979 as hull nr. 30 of the highly successful Swan 39 series constructed by Nautor in Finland. With 12 Swan 39’s delivered as IOR-optimised Swan 39R ‘racing variants’ and a further 21 launched as a more conventional fast cruising variant, SEGRATARIO is one of the last cruising versions to be delivered. Purchased from her original owner by her current owning family in 1983, she has remained a much-cherished part of the family, benefitting from a substantial refit in 2024, costing in excess of her current asking price. 2024 REFIT HIGHLIGHTS:• New hull and deck paint• New 10mm cockpit sole and seats teak• New rod Nitronic 50 standing rigging and new tensioners• New 10mm Dyneema running rigging• 4x new plexiglas hull windows• 2x new plexiglas hantches windows • Steering columns repainted• New leather cover for the steering wheels• New rudder bearings• New Jabsco manual WC• Winches serviced• New Spinlock stopper on the coach roof• All new seacocks• All new sea-water pipes replaced including engine exhaust pipe• Backstay serviced• New LED interior lights• Suunto compass serviced• New wind instruments sensor• New LED navigation lights• New VHF antenna• New light wiringsOWNERS’ COMMENTS:SEGRETARIO was purchased by our father in 1983, it has been part of the family since and has been our trustworthy companion in many regattas and great vacations across the Mediterranean. As our parents passed away years ago, and as we three brothers have grown older, each of us with his own plans and obligations, we now look for a new owner interested in cherishing SEGRETARIO and taking it to new adventures.
