Description




The first model in Baltic history was designed by Naval Architect C&C Design, Canada. The interior layout and styling was done by our own in-house design and provided easy living on board especially during races, but was also generous with space for the cruising minded.The Baltic 46 was a very advanced product for its time, with a level of technology exceeding many of the serial production yachts seen on today´s market.The Baltic 46 design and performance studies were done in autumn 1973, including tank testing various hull models. The yacht included the following new features: laminates using sandwich construction, a teak deck thinner than normally seen in those days but with epoxy glued to the FRP deck for durability as well as for added strength, and, finally, the standing rigging was rod rigging which those days was used mostly on racing machines.

InventoryBulwarks with 7 coats of epoxy and sides in July 2015, new Garmin pilot, interfaced with all the Garmin instruments (plotter, radar, Ais, wind station) installed in 2018, repainted deckhouse , Mainsail and genoa Banks Sail in good condition. Harken furler and 12 mm stay. Pigtail 2018 Banks Sail with Ubi Maior 150 blender, 12 mm anti-twist cable and spectra halyard with 2/1 Ubi maior hoist. Dedicated rails. Dyneema wheels of 10, with Harken hoists, Gennaker Zaoli Sails used very little, 3 spinnakers (light, medium and heavy), 2 aluminum spinnaker poles currently landed, Two anchors. Chain of 10 mt. 80. Lofrans project 1500 with remote control and portable chain counter, Tender Osculati mt. 2,70 2019 with Mercury 6 hp engine, mainsail halyard, two single-borosa hands, mainsheet, vang sheet (Selden), staysail halyard, deflected on 2 batteries of 3 stoppers each in the cockpit. In the cockpit, on the guards: two primary Harken s.t. 66, two Harken s.t. 42 for the steering wheels, two Lewmar for the staysail staysheet.Mast foot: two winches Barbarossa 48 s.t. other Harken 42 s.t. and 3 Lewmar (original) for the other maneuvers, halyards all in spectra, 2 for the genoa, two for the mainsail and two for the spi for a total of 7 halyards. Interior arrangement, Two cabins, separated with their own bathroom, double bed and 7 bunks, hot water with dual circuit boiler, Rod Rigging, 10 and 8 mm, Reckmann mast 20 mt. two orders of spreaders, Vang Selden with hoist and return of the sheet to the cockpit, Lombardini 2004 aspirated 64 hp with 700 h. of run Max prop three-bladed folding. Hydraulic transmission.
