Description

History & Construction The Robber 3E was a development of an earlier Swedish-designed yacht by Peter Stahle in circa 1975, originally made of multi-chine plywood. The 3E iteration was modified by Stuart Jardine, retaining the same underwater profile but featuring a straighter sheer line and a narrower transom to increase the sail area for IOR racing. It has been owned by the current owner for the past two years. It was last surveyed for insurance purposes in 2024. The Owner is selling due to a lack of time to use her. She is currently afloat in Chatham Marina Title Documents: When preparing these details, we have seen the following documentation: Bill of Sale in the owner’s name. Previous Bills of Sale. Proof of location on 31st December 2020. It has a slab reefing mainsail with furling headsail. It has a stackpack and lazyjacks, both new in 2025, to make sail handling easier. Winches: 2 x Sheet winches 2 x Halyard winches Sails: Main, Dacron, ADM Sails , 2021 condition, excellent Furling Genoa, Dacron, ADM Sails 2021, condition excellent Mechanical Systems:This Rodder 3E has a Yanmar 1GM 10HP diesel engine fitted. It is seawater cooled with a shaft drive to a 2-blade folding prop, It has a 22-litre plastic fuel tank. It cruises at 5 knots and has a maximum speed of approximately 6 knots. The engine was last serviced in January 2025. Electrical Systems 1 x 12V Domestic and 1 x 12V Engine battery, purchased approximately 3 years ago, charged by the engine alternator and via a 240V ring main shore power system.
