Keel and Hull Cast iron Bilge Keel with Skeg Rudder. History & Construction: Constructed by Westerly Yachts in circa 1976 to a Laurent Giles design. Featuring a red GRP hull adorned with a teak rubbing strake, self-draining cockpit, and white GRP decks with by brown non-slip surfaces. Its stability is ensured by cast iron twin bilge keels, with tiller steering and skeg rudder. This Westerly Centaur has been enjoyed by the current owner for the past 30 years. A copy of a 2009 survey report is available upon request.
