Description
Designed and built by the famed duo Curtis & Pape. A classic and formidable racer Musketeer II has a proven record. During the 80's and 90's she achieved four 1st places and a 2nd in the West Bristol Channel Race. 2nd in class at the Fastnet 1989. 1st place at the Escale dans les Charentais in 1996. Other trophies include the round Round Ireland and European Cup (Brighton to Puerto Sherry). Since 1996 she has been cruised extensively around the UK, Ireland, and Britany. The 2021 Survey is a testament to the care and attention she has received in the last 40 years. Sensibly priced she now seeks a new Skipper & Crew. Whether you are looking for a racing yacht or a cruising vessel that will make speedy passage on route, Musketeer offers classic lines and performance. Currently lying ashore ready for full inspection.HullSplit plank mahogany planked on oak frameLead fin keel fastened with bronze keel bolts on to stainless steel backing platesWooden skeg hung rudderTeak deck laid on marine ply subdeck - New teak deck laid 2014Original ships plans available includingGeneral ArrangementLine PlanStructure PlanSail and RiggingTiller SteeringEngineVolvo Penta D1-20B18 HP600 engine hoursStern drive2 Blade folding propellorRigging & SailsAluminium mast and spars with silver anodised finishWinch on mastAluminium boom with silver anodised finish1 x 19 Stainless steel rigging with 7mm diameter for the cap shrouds, lowers and intermediates8mm ForestayMainsail slab reefing - 2003Headsail JKA furling - 2003RORC JibElectrics1 x Engine Battery2 x Domestic BatteriesShore Power 240 VElectric & Manual Bilge PumpsAccommodationBlue upholstery throughoutWarmed by Eberspacher D2 2.2W diesel air heaterGalley UShaped GalleyGimballed Plastimo Neptune with twin gas hons, oven and grill Stainless Steel sink with pressurised cold water.FridgeAmple stowageChart TableForward facing full sized Chart tableInstrument panelNavigation SuiteNavico DSC 1400 ControllerSimrad RT 1400 VHF with DSCB&G Speed, depth and wind instrumentsNASA AIS receiverRaymarine C80 Chart plotterNavigation lightsSaloonBench seating to portForward and aft seating to starboard encasing saloon tableCrew berth to starboard2 aft crew berths to port and starboardAmple stowage in cupboardsClock and BarometerShips lampAccess to 2 x flexi water tanksFor’ard BerthLarge double V BerthHatch to Fore DeckAmple stowageReading LightsHeadsMarine toilet Basin with pressurised cold water tapWet lockerStowageOn DeckTeak deck laid on marine ply subdeck - New teak deck laid 2014Stainless steel guard wires Anchor with Chain & WarpMooring linesFenders and WarpsDeep cockpitTiller steering Disclaimer : Pembrokeshire Yacht Sales Ltd offers the details of this vessel for sale but cannot guarantee or warrant the accuracy of the information contained in the specification or warrant the condition of the vessel or equipment.
