Remarks :Classic steel 35ft yacht designed by Erich Koppen for sale, temporarily in Calais, France - Just reduced to £12,000 This classic steel yacht, designed by Erick Koppen and built by W Trost in Emden and has very classic lines with its steel hull, long keel and teak decks with wheel steering. The yacht offers five berths in one cabin and a saloon with a linear galley. The current owner has owned the yacht since April 2023; the previous owner had her for 13 years. The current owner is selling as he has little time to use her. The owner is open to offers close to the asking price for a quick sale. Accommodation :This classic steel yacht offers five berths in two cabins with 6ft of headroom. The Forward Cabin has a V shaped berth with an infill to make into a double berth with storage space beneath the berth. Opening hatch to the foredeck make the cabin light and airy. Aft of the forward cabin and to port is the heads which has a marine manual toilet with a vanity unit with a cupboard and sink with hot and cold pressurised water. Hot water headed by the 240v immersion heater. Opposite the heads is a hanging locker for oilies. Aft of the heads is the saloon which has a U-shaped settee to port with a saloon table that will drop to make into a double berth. There is storage under the saloon settees and lockers above. There is a TV mounted on the bulkhead. Opposite the saloon table is the galley which has a single sink with hot and cold pressurised water, a 12v fridge and three burner gas hob with oven and grill. The galley has lots of storage lockers for utensils, crockery and cutlery and food. Aft of the Galley is the Navigation table which has an area for navigation instruments and navigation books etc. Aft of the Navigation table is a large quarter berth with opening hatch to the cockpit. The engine is located under the companionway steps, that can be easily removed, The steps lead you up to the cockpit which is spacious for the size of yacht. It has a full cockpit enclosure which provides additional sleeping and entertainment space.

The deck is constructed with plywood sub-deck which is bolted to an internal steel flange The deck is finished with swept laid teak planking secured to the plywood. the coach roof and cockpit coamings are of timber construction, thought to be mahogany. There is a raised steel bulwark at the deck edge with a wood capping. The yacht was last out of the water in September 2021 when she was antifouled and the anodes changed. The owner is selling due to a lack of time to use her. It has a Hurth HBW 125 reduction gearbox. It has a shaft to a three-blade prop. It is understood that the engine was re-built in 1996 and the indirect cooling system was replaced in 2000. It has a 180 litre steel fuel tank with two fuel filters that were replaced in June 2025. The yacht will cruise at 5 knots and has a maximum speed of 6 knots. The engine was last professionally serviced in 2018. Electrical Systems:There are 2 x 12V 170AH batteries fitted, 1 x engine and 1 x domestic, both purchased in 2021. Both are charged by the engine alternator and via a Sterling Battery Management System via a 240V ring main. The boat is also fitted with a 240v immersion system to heat the hot water.
