This is a proper Spearfish, not a converted military Spear, built by Fairey in 1973 and as confirmed by the Peter Twiss factory records once owned by John Coombs of Jaguar Mk2 fame and racing driver Roy Salvadori.Fitted with a pair of inline pump Cummins 6bts that pulled 250hp on a dyno and uprated Velvetdrive gearboxes rebuilt last year. New Tek Tank. She is about to come ashore for antifoul, anodes, a bit of varnish and a few odd jobs. Cabin is nice, heads is electric, galley functions, full suit of Raymarine gear with Radar.New Tonneau cover just fitted as well as an ageing but functional full canopy. Photos coming soon.
