Remarks : Great Dane 37 for sale in Kent This  Great Dane 37 built in 1970 is a well-built long-distance cruiser with good sea keeping qualities with 6 berths in 3 cabins with two heads. This Great Dane 37 benefits from an array of Raymarine navigation equipment with Navtec, electronic charts, and a Vetus bow thruster. She has recently been antifouled and had her anodes replaced. A previous 2014 survey is available upon request. Accommodation :This Great Dane 37 offers six berths in three cabins. The forward cabin includes two single vee berths to both port and starboard with under berth and cupboard storage and cupboards above. Moving aft, the separate heads compartment is to port with a marine toilet, and a sink mounted in a vanity unit with storage, hot and cold pressurised water and cupboard storage behind the toilet. The heads compartment also benefits from an integrated shower tray and attachment.   The saloon features booth seating with a table located on the portside with cupboard storage behind, this area also converts to a double berth and includes storage under the seats. The linear Galley is located along the starboard side and is equipped with a gimbaled 2-burner gas hob with an oven and grill, a 240v fridge, a 12v cool box under the cart table seat, a single stainless-steel sink with pressurized hot and cold water, and ample storage space. This vessel also benefits from a 265 Litre freshwater capacity with hot water being provided by the engine calorifier tank and a 240v immersion heater. Ascending the saloon companionway leads to the spacious centre cockpit, featuring bench seating for up to six people with a cockpit table and generous storage and access to the engine compartment. The cockpit instrumentation includes a compass, depth gauge, wind direction indicator, speed log, wheel steering, Chartplotter and engine controls. The aft cabin consists of one large double berth across the stern of the vessel with under berth storage along with a single hanging locker on the starboard side. Located on the port side is a heads compartment with a marine toilet, and a sink mounted in a vanity unit with hot and cold pressurised water. This Great Dane 37 also benefits from a Diesel cabin heater and CD/Radio.

This Great Dane 37 was last out of the water in 2023/24 for re antifouling and the anodes changed. Equipped with a proctor furling headsail and a slab reef mainsail with lazy Jacks, this vessel allows for efficient sailing in various conditions. This Perkins 4236 is powering a shaft driven three bladed fix propellor and is supplied by two 225 Litre fuel tanks 1 x stainless steel, 1 x plastic tank fitted with a fuel polisher and transfer pump. The engine and gearbox were last serviced in Spring 2024  Electrical Systems: 6 x 12-volt batteries (4 x domestic battery 2017, 1 x 12-volt engine battery 2022, 1 x anchor winch & Bow Thruster new 2017) charging from the engine alternators and a 240 Battery charger. This Great Dane 37 benefits from shore power connection with a ring main throughout the vessel, immersion heater and 12V inverter. The has two alternators, one for the domestic batteries and one for the engine and bow thruster batteries.
