Description

Remarks :Brokers Remarks: The Nicholson 32 was in production for 20 years and was one of Camper & Nicholson’s most popular models. There were various different models with changes to the hull size and deck moulding. The Nicholson 32 was an affordable serious ocean-going cruiser for sailing enthusiasts due to the strength and seaworthiness of the design. The Nicholson 32 has beautiful lines, if you appreciate older classic boat design she would fall into this category. Caladh is a great option for a keen sailor looking for a solid go-anywhere cruising yacht, she is a structurally sound yacht, she has a reliable Yanmar engine which is serviced and winterised each season. She is dry stored each winter and has a stunning river mooring on the River Yealm during the summer months. She does need some updating and some cosmetic work but the asking price is reflective of this. Owners Remarks:We have owned Caladh since 2020 and have used her purely for day sailing. She is a delightful yacht to sail, as one would expect from a long keel yacht designed by Charles Nicholson, providing an exceptionally smooth and sea kindly ride for a yacht of this size. She works very well as a family cruising boat. The full-forward lines typical of Charles Nicholson designs provides a remarkably comfortable and roomy forecabin and, combined with the settee berths and pilot berth in the saloon, provides plenty of room for a complement of 5. The full lines and heavy displacement enables ample lockers and storage space for gear and provisions for extended cruising. The engine consumes approximately 1/3 gallon per hour at 5 knots and can comfortably motor across the channel and back without needing to refuel if required.

Accommodation :Accommodation: Sleeps 5 in 2 cabins including the saloonThe forward cabin has a double V berth with infill, these berths are 6'4" long Amidships heads with Lavac seawater toilet, hand basin with lockers and hanging locker opposite Saloon with 3 x single berths 6'3" long which includes a pilot berth above the portside single berth  Saloon headroom is a maximum of 6' 0" aft Galley to port with a stainless steel sink, cool box, 2 burner gas hob & grill Full-size chart table to starboard Ample storage throughout  Teak interior joinery Light blue interior upholstery
