Description

Traditional Scottish fishing craft inspired motorsailer, designed by the iconic studio G.L. WATSON as a perfect Med cruiser. Her fashinating past includes assisting England's 1962 challenge in the America's Cup.With two Gardner engines -still the original ones- recently rebuilt and a restoration made by part of the team involved on the LULWORTH project, FREEWARD is a very interesting opportunity. Please note that FREEWARD needs some attention to turn back to her original beauty. From an aesthetic point of view the engine room needs good paint work. The interior layout of the saloon has been modified by the former owner who used the boat for daycharter, the original one can be viewed in a plan in the gallery; fortunately, the original sofas have been moved but are still in good condition, while the galley/cooking corner has to be rebuilt. Finally, FREEWARD presently is still equipped with an old mainsail that should be replaced, together with two jibs
