The 24 small enough to easily trailer it but big enough to enjoy all day This boat has been restored and is ready to hit the water. It is located in Hickory Corners, Michigan, with convenient access to major highways.Chris Crafts are double-planked on the bottom so the first layer used was 1088 marine plywood, as per Don Dandenberg's method. The outer layer is a Philippine Mahogany cut, leaving a gap between planks to allow the swelling of wet wood. Between layers, a coat of 3M 5200 adhesive is applied, filling those gaps. This method prevents the need for soaking the boat prior to use allowing drop and use. The boat now has a leak-free, no-soak bottom, which can be launched and used at will.A custom built trailer modified to fit the Express Cruiser makes launching and storing easy. The boat comes with a newer full cover.
