Her engine and interior were removed.Originally built in the 1940s, The exact provenance of this Australian Square Metre is unknown as she's had several owners through the years and traveled to several locations. Even though the Australian 30 Square Metre class of boats were built as harbor racers, they are said to perform best in heavy blows and choppy seas. She's a 30 Square Meter Yacht which was converted into a motorized cruising yacht in the 1960s. In 2005 she was shipped to San Diego where she underwent a restoration. This Australian Square Metre's restoration in 2006 / 2007 cost around $100k to complete. She's in great condition and is super fun to sail. As you can see in the photos, she's protected by a full cover too. The boat cover was just replaced in May of 2020.
