Remarks :This 1938 International Dragon designed by Johan Anker is a stunner. She had a major refurb over 20 years years ago before the present owner bought her. The present owner has been an excellent custodian and last sailed her before Covid! She comes with a number of good sails and an excellent yard trailer. Accommodation :"Elfin" (Swedish for Dragon)Hull Number 50Built by Knudson/Johanson in SwedenIn present ownership for about 20 yearsPitch pine on oak hullMajor refit over 20 years ago, including the following:First cut Burmese teak on marine plywood deck (replaced) Coachroof and coamings were also replaced (mahogany and teak)Keel bolts replaced where requiredRudder stockTreated iron keelA good suit of sails (no spinnaker or pole)Older set of sails (main and & jib) Well maintained yard trailer."Procter" Alloy mast and boom2 x sheet winchesHull faired and antifouledTopsides faired and varnished to a very high standard a few years ago and looks great.Large anchor with 10m of chainMooring lines and fendersThis Dragon is looking for a new "Custodian" to take care of her.Viewing highly recommended.
