This Harrison Butler Bogle Class is a comfortable, attractive and weatherly cruising yacht with proven capabilities. The Bogle Design was first drawn by Dr. Harrison Butler in 1933 for the Little Ship Club designing competition. Fairwind has been in her currently ownership for over 20 years and has been well maintained. Up forward you find the marine toilet to centre with a deck opening hatch and good stowage for sails, warps etc. In the saloon you have two single berths to port and starboard. The galley is in the starboard quarter with a two-burner gas hob & grill. Single basin. Opposite to port is the chart table with electrical distribution panel.Mechanical SystemsLocated behind the companionway steps is the Volvo Penta (Perkins Perama 100 series) marine diesel engine fitted new in approximately 1998. Shaft driven to a fixed 3 bladed propeller. Single lever controls. Electric start. 3 cylinders, 20hp. Annually serviced and engine fully overhauled in 2015.
