Description

A Fantastic space nestled on the banks of the river Hamble An opportunity to buy a gorgeous, high spec floating home on a secluded and beautiful residential mooring nestled on the banks of the river Hamble, with access to private woodland and meadow. Built in Holland in 1927, with the entire hull over-plated in 2016, the previous owners lived onboard for 20 years and fully renovated Papillon in a unique, pretty style with natural light and colourful touches throughout the boat. Papillon is fully equipped for its new owners to comfortably move aboard straight away, with shore-power and mains water connections on current residential mooring . Last out the water in 2016, and dry docked for a period of 18 months to undertake extensive hull and superstructure repair and refurbishment including entire hull over-plating with 6mm steel, shot blasted and hull coated with Inter zone 958 high build epoxy. Photographic evidence of each stage of the work is available to view. Fully insulated throughout with 50mm fire-rated spray roam. 76ft length, 14ft width. Large bespoke wheelhouse serves as both a spacious place to relax and entertain while enjoying panoramic views out of the original barge windows, as well as a main entrance to the home.
