Stagsegelketsch, built in 1898 - in the 70s completely rebuilt from a professional ship to a yacht with ever new improvements and modernizations in recent years. The staysail yacht Nordwind is considered one of the oldest still seagoing steel yachts in the world. About the history: The Nordwind was built in 1898 as a cargo sailer in a German shipyard in Northern Germany. An excellent sailer. It was not until 1912 that the first engine was installed.The complete hold is overbuilt and berths are installed in the forecastle.
