A yacht blessing ceremony is a historic maritime tradition that celebrates the acquisition of a new vessel and invokes protection for its future voyages. We were honoured to join the new owners of ‘Kōkua’ for the blessing of their new Hanse 548 at Hamble Point Marina. The ceremony was a beautiful occasion, filled with joy and anticipation. The owners, along with friends and family, gathered to witness the traditional blessing, which included a toast to good fortune and safe passage. The Hanse 548, a magnificent sailing yacht, looked stunning in the autumn sun. Michael Schmidt & Partner extends its warmest congratulations to the owners of Kōkua and wishes them many happy years of sailing adventures.
