CYAN is one of the very last hulls built (hull #33) of this semi-custom cat and the most recent vintage available on the market today.The Outremer 5X has been the choice of celebrated Volvo Ocean Race, Vendee Globe skippers and experienced blue-water cruisers alike. CYAN was built for a yachting professional who also resides near the Outremer yard. This allowed the owner to cultivate a very close relationship with the design team leading up to the construction of the yacht and then to oversee the actual construction on a daily basis. The owner did not build a cat to win regattas, but a well-balanced cat optimized for fast, safe ocean passages. All up, this may very well be the best Outremer 5X ever built.CYAN is a proven, blue-water cat that has been sailed to French Polynesia and back to the Caribbean by a live-aboard family of four.
