This M44 is equipped with Volvo Penta D6 diesel engines, each with 400hp and a joystick control for the sterndrives, making navigation within narrow bays and maneuvering in port a pushover. The Side Power bow thruster provides the necessary "back-up" even in stronger winds. With a planing speed of around 21kn, "Daria" runs at around 2.400rpm and a combined consumption of 65l/h, the maximum speed is an impressive 35kn at 3.580rpm.
