This 2007 Fairline Squadron 58, KISMIT II is immaculately clean and ably demonstrates the peak of her builder’s powers, with a superb 6 berth layout within her highly-capable Olesinski hull. Kitted with bow & stern props, Flexiteek, mooring winches, upgrade generator, air-con and a fastidiously-maintained engine bay housing a pair of D12-715s, this is a much-loved late 58.ConstructionRCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC or RCDII (2013/53/EU as appropriate (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised B – “Offshore” Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:Fairline Squadron 58 built by Fairline Boats Ltd to a design by Bernard Olesinski and the Fairline Design Team. White GRP planing hull with deep 'V' forefoot softening to an 18° deadrise aft.Isophthalic gel coat backed by an isophthalic resin-rich powder-bound glass mat.All gel coat and glass fibre is laid up by hand, incorporating chopped strand glass mat and unidirectional and woven rovings.Transverse and longitudinal strengthening stringers throughout hull with engine bearers moulded into the hull.Full length moulded spray deflectors.The integral bathing platform gives the boat a longer waterline length for improved performance, particularly at reduced power settings.Semi-tunnelled propellers enabling the engines to be located further aft, also reducing draught and improving efficiency by reducing the shaft angle.Hull/deck join bonded and bolted.The deck incorporates polyurethane foam cores for high strength and excellent thermal insulation.Foredeck and forward flybridge painted in light grey deck paint (March/April 2026). Teak laid flybridge deck, flybridge steps and aft cockpit (varnished) deck. Bathing platform and side decks in Flexiteek (fitted 2024). Antifouled March 2026. MachineryEngine & Gearboxes:2 x Volvo D12-715 EVC 715hp 12.1 litre 6 cylinder diesel engines - turbocharged with electronically controlled waste gate. Direct drive via ZF 325-1A @ ratio 1:733 reduction gearboxes.Engine room & generator access via aft cockpit hatch and stainless steel ladder.Insulated and LED lit engine space.Cast iron block and one-piece cylinder head with replaceable wet liners and valve seats/guides for superb long term durability.Freshwater cooling via heat exchangers. Aerodynamically designed engine air intakes to maximise cooling ability with additional engine room ventilation fans. Water cooled engine exhausts with silencers and side outlets.Exhaust overheat warning system for both engines. Maintenance & Performance:Engine Hours: c.812 / 822 at June 2026.Last engine service March 2026.Heat exchangers and coolers stripped, cleaned and serviced by Volvo Penta in 2023.Cruising speed: 25 knots.Maximum quoted speed: c. 30 knots. Propulsion & Steering:Full engine instrumentation including tachometers, oil pressure gauges, temperature gauges, battery indicators, tank gauges and alarms, mounted in Madrona wood-finish panels.Conventional shaft drive to bronze propellers.Dual station hydraulic wheel power steering. Electronic Volvo Penta EVC single lever controls. Shaft drives fitted with dripless shaft seals to contra-rotating manganese bronze propellers via gearboxes. Manganese bronze P-brackets and rudders. Sidepower 11hp bow thruster with controls at both helms.Vetus stern thruster fitted 2018, with controls at both helms. Remote pendant for thrusters.Electrical SystemsVoltage Systems:24V ships battery system.All circuits protected by circuit breakers on main electrical load control panel. Battery Banks:Comprehensive battery system with isolating switches to all batteries.2 x heavy-duty engine cranking batteries.4 x heavy-duty domestic batteries.All batteries replaced with Varta N9 225A 12V batteries (new March 2026). Battery parallel switching. Battery Chargers:Mastervolt Mass 24V/75A smart battery charger. Alternators:Charging via 2 x 80A/24V engine alternators. Generator:Upgrade Onan 17.5KVA remote start generator (serviced March 2026).Approx. 180 hours run at June 2026. High-capacity emergency manual bilge pump system with changeover valves.TankageFuel:Approximately 2342 litres capacity in two high-grade, corrosion-resistant aluminium alloy tanks. Fresh Water:Approximately 1008 litres capacity in one high-grade marine stainless steel tank.
