A boat with excellent sailing capabilities, featuring a lifting and lowering keel as well as great comfort, designed by Frank Neubelt, who is typically a designer for many mega yachts.StandardA fast family boat with a well-thought-out layout, a good height of 190 cm below deck, bathing platform, and more. At the same time, the Slotta 40CC is an easy-to-steer boat with equipment and rigging that makes it possible to sail single-handed. Extensive use of teak in the boat, including a teak deck.LayoutEasy boarding via the bow sprit or stern. You’ll then reach a spacious cockpit with benches and teak flooring around the entire steering console. From the helm position, you have a good overview of both the boat and the crew. The dashboard has a great design, clean and tidy with a range of navigation and electronic equipment. Down the companionway forward from the cockpit, you enter a spacious saloon with almost two meters of headroom. On the port side, there is a large sofa along the table, and two armchairs on the starboard side. Plenty of storage space under the floor. A bathroom/toilet is located at the rear port side with a sink. A double cabin is on the starboard side at the stern with hanging wardrobes for clothes. A separate chart table on the port side of the saloon, adjacent to the saloon, with a large display for navigation. On the starboard side, there is a longitudinal galley with two fridges, a practical sink with two basins, a two-burner gas stove with an oven, a built-in microwave with many functions, and ample counter space. The master cabin is in the bow with lots of wardrobe space and its own bathroom with a shower.SeaworthinessThe boat is seaworthy with a weight of 8,000 kg and is equipped with a hydraulic lifting/lowering keel that gives a depth range from 2.40 m to 1.40 m. The boat is equipped with three electric winches: two for genoa sheets and one for the mainsail halyard, making it easy to maneuver and sail single-handed. The boat was upgraded below the waterline in 2021 with sanding and a new epoxy primer and five layers of Coppercoat applied. Very good bottom paint with a guaranteed 15-year durability. The boat was sprayed in 2018.Engine/EquipmentThe boat is powered by a Volvo Penta D2-55C with 55 hp and has a speed of approximately 7 knots. About 1400 engine hours. The boat is also equipped with a bow thruster from Vetus. Lewmar electric anchor winch at the front, as well as an electric winch at the stern with a 50 m dock line, installed in 2023.The boat is located in Mandal and can be inspected there by appointment.
